During your journey the tour guide will explain the farming and harvest of the coffee plants. You can learn the steps to follow in the coffee production process. Depending on the year season, you even have the chance to pick some beans.
The tour continues to the ground coffee area or “Beneficio” (how is populary called in Costa Rica). In that area the tour guide will show you antique methods for coffee
production. As “El Chancador” (separating bean from peel method). Costumers can also participe of this process as well.
In that moment, the coffee will be transformed to roasted bean. That happens before it is prepared to be exported.
After all this gotten knowledge to understand the quality coffee process, the tour ends with costumers enjoying a cup of coffee.
